Wiizard.

This guy is awesome. He's managed to crack a Wii remote which, as a result, has taken gaming to the third dimension.

He also sounds exactly like Marvin the Martian which makes him extra awesome.

No Ordinary Tattoo.

Tired of ink? why not just cut and burn baby? Welcome to the world of body modification.

Oh look, it's a lovely fish...oh no...sorry...it's a fish of blood.

Here is an extract taken from a Scarification website concerning the cutting aftercare:

After you are done with the soap and water, I recommend using Peroxide on the wound. This will help kill any bacteria, as well as irritate the cuts to help with scarring. Pour a bit of the Peroxide into your freshly washed cuts and let it sit for a couple minutes.

Let it sit for a couple of minutes? Jesus P. Christ! it's not a microwaveable meal.

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'...

...I got Rick Rolled today.

At first I was angry, but the anger quickly subsided and I just sat back and enjoyed the wonder that is Astley.

"Hacking Urban Systems"

A message from the boys down at the Graffiti Research Lab.

Life as we don't know it.

Ron Fricke's experimental documentary Baraka is an exceptional piece of work.

There is no plot, no narration and no interviews. There is only music and a "journey of rediscovery that plunges into nature, into history, into the human spirit and finally into the realm of the infinite." (Fricke:1992)

Here is my favourite excerpt from the film.

China Town.

Matt H and I are going to the China Design Now exhibition at the V&A Museum on Saturday.

Look at us being all cultured and shit.

I took photographs of Drag Queens who perform at the Birdcage in Leeds. Here they are.

It's Here!

I have been waiting for this film to hit UK screens since it debuted in Cannes last year.

El Orfanato is the Del Toro produced, Baynona directed, psychological-horror/supernatural-thriller that is being touted as the new Pan's.

Whoever is touting this as the new Pan's is obviously a vacuous, lazy, pathetic excuse for a human with no capacity for autonomous thought.

After skimming through snippets and anything else I could get my hands on, El Orfanato looks more like the bastard love child of El Espinazo Del Diablo and Cronos (just without the golden blood-sucking beetle invention).

Whatever it turns out to be or be like, I really don't care. it's bloody Guillermo del Toro and I know I'm going to like it.

If you got the money.

Valued at a barely reasonable $250,000 The Gundam Fix Platinum is the world's most expensive toy robot.

As the name suggests, it is made entirely out of platinum apart from the 15 carat diamond used in the camera eye of the figure's head.

Unfortunately this puppy ain't for sale.

How to be a Person.

Demetri Martin is one of my favourite comedians who is currently alive and working today.

A while ago he made 7 short films and they are good.

Here is episode 1.

Pure Goldin.

My passion for photography started with The Ballad of Sexual Dependency, a collection of photographs by Nan Goldin.

Her work is bleak, savage, unabashed and stunning.

Goldin famously described The Ballad of Sexual Dependency as "The diary I let people read".

The Ballad documents the turbulent lives of Goldin and her urban family during the Aids-riddled-eighties.

The images hurt. You don't want to look for too long, but you do, and my god does it feel good.

Another (Disney) Dimension.

Disney have churned out more sequels than I've had hot instant ramen noodles, however, one film in the recycle bin stands out.

There are rumblings at mouse towers that Disney are planning to release Tron 3D and that Joseph Kosinski (Who? he directs adverts that's who) will be the man to take Tron to the next level.

2011 is the release date.

I really hope it's not going to be shit.

Look at these.

A few nice prints from those crazy cats at Keep Calm.

Run Rabbit Run Rabbit Run Run Run...

An excellent animated short by Run Wrake entitled Rabbit.

Underrated Pain.

I received a papercut today and it hurt.

Not only does it hurt now but I know that it will continue to hurt for the next three days, especially if it comes into contact with salt, vinegar or anything of that ilk.

People should give more credit to this tiny flesh wound.

Introducing...Microberg.

He dances and everything.

Have you got anything without spam?

Spam makes me laugh.

I recieved an email from Alfonso Ong today reminding me that Girls simply CANNOT get their hands off a guy who is 9 inches long.

Thanks Alfonso, I'll log that away.

Linzie Hunter, an artist from North London, has turned these spam one-liners into art. Nice.

Check out other works of spam at her website - http://www.linziehunter.co.uk/

Song and Dance Man.

"Well, you look so pretty in it
Honey, can I jump on it sometime?
Yes, I just wanna see
If it's really that expensive kind
You know it balances on your head
Just like a mattress balances
On a bottle of wine
Your brand new leopard-skin pill-box hat"

Is this supposed to be funny?

Yes and yes it is.

Icelandic author Hugleikur Dagsson has managed to amuse and offend just about everyone again with his latest collection of disgustingly funny cartoons.

From incest to suicide to paedophilia, Is This Supposed to be Funny? is fun for the whole family.

Images of Amsterdam.

I went to Amsterdam on the 15th of February for the weekend. The sun was shining and it was extremely cold. I saw countless canals, cafes, prostitutes and bicycles. It was beautiful.
